Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether using the whispering games technique enhances students' performance in the tenth grade of SMA YP PGRI 1 Makassar. This researcher employed a pre-experimental approach. 30 students from SMA YP PGRI 1 Makassar's tenth grade are the researcher's participants. Based on observations made on January 22, 2024, the researchers identified 30 students from SMA YP PGRI 1 Makassar's tenth grade. This researcher applied experimental research. Pre-test and post-test student ratios were found to be significantly different in the research; the post-test ratio was greater than the pre-test (80,>50), and the T-Test ratio was higher than the T-Table ratio (2.488>2.045). The application of the Whispering Games technique is clearly helpful in improving students' vocabulary mastery in class tenth SMA YP PGRI 1 Makassar.
