Students' Perception of Flipped Classroom Strategy in Vocabulary Development II at STKIP YPUP Makassar

The purpose of this study was to find how students' perceptions of the Flipped Classroom strategy in the Vocabulary Development II course for second-semester students of the English education study programme at STKIP YPUP Makassar. This research used the qualitative method. The population of this study was 15 students and used a purposive sampling technique in one class. The instrument used in obtaining data used was a questionnaire consisting of 12 items and a 5-question interview. The data processing technique uses a Likert scale with five choices: strongly agree, agree, hesitate, disagree, and strongly disagree. Based on the researcher's findings, it can be concluded that students have a positive perception of the Flipped Classroom strategy in the Vocabulary Development II course. The respondents' judgment comes from their learning experience. The implementation of the Flipped Classroom strategy clearly helps in the Vocabulary Development of second-semester students at STKIP YPUP Makassar.
